HELPING YOUNG WOMEN TO SOAR
Discovering Butterflies is dedicated to empowering young women aged 18-25 by providing comprehensive instruction and unwavering support, enabling them to overcome barriers and fulfill their professional and personal aspirations. As a 501c3 non-profit organization, we strive to create equitable opportunities for those who lack access, fostering a community where every individual can spread their wings and soar.
To provide young women, experiencing barriers to growth, a transformational strategy that supports and propels them towards achieving their professional and/or personal aspirations.
We offer a 16-week hybrid program, twice a year, that is crafted to support women aged 18-25 across the nation. Structured into four progressive stages, each stage comprises various learning modules tailored to empower participants on their journey. From identity mapping to leadership training, cultural sensitivity, community engagement, life skills development, educational support, mindful wellness practices, and mentorship assistance, our comprehensive curriculum equips young women with the tools and knowledge necessary to thrive personally and professionally.

Age Range: Applicants must be women between the ages of 18 and 25 at the time of application.

Nationality: The program is open to individuals nationally, regardless of citizenship status.

Interest and Need: Applicants should demonstrate a genuine interest in personal and professional development, as well as a need for support in achieving their goals. Priority will be given to applicants who face barriers to accessing resources and opportunities necessary for their advancement.

Commitment: Applicants must be willing to commit to the full duration of the 16-week program and actively participate in all components, including workshops, mentorship sessions, and community engagements.

Availability: Applicants should have the availability to attend both in-person and virtual sessions as required by the hybrid nature of the program
